brightlightPupils will find out how scientists look at particles by inferring from evidence.

A video clip will show a particle accelerator, the Synchrotron Radiation Source at the Daresbury Laboratory, and how it is used to look at many different materials including particles.

Step-by-step instructions are given for making a simple 'particle camera' which the pupils will make and use to describe how they can see what particles look like.
